Many of our competitors have recently restricted the extent of their coverage by excluding any claims in relation to Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE), in view of the number of claim incidents.
Having considered the matter carefully, we have decided to continue providing cover, provided the Policyholder consults with and follows the advice of our Markelukassist Helpline and subject to a specific TUPE deductible.
We have also extended our appetite for writing Employment business and are now considering employers with up to 250 employees, especially those with their own HR departments or those who can call upon the specialist services of contracted outsourced HR advice.
