Markel UK drive brokers to their stand at BIBA with the chance to win Grand Prix Tickets
Markel (UK) Limited, the Retail division of specialist global insurer Markel International, are set to make an impression with their debut appearance at the BIBA Conference & Exhibition, taking place on May 13th - 15th at Manchester Central.
Along with showcasing their specialist product range and e-trading website, MarkelUKOnline, Markel UK will be offering brokers the chance to win a pair of hospitality tickets to the British Grand Prix, which will be held at Silverstone for the last time in June 2009.
For their chance to win, brokers must pit their driving skills against the clock around a real formula 1 racing circuit on the stands F1 simulator. Participants will be asked to make a donation to the Princess Royal Trust for Carers (www.carers.org) in order to take part in the challenge, the individual achieving the fastest lap time will walk away with the Grand Prix tickets.
Helen Walker, Marketing Coordinator at Markel UK, explains ‘we aim to use the exhibition to engage and build relationships with our broker market whilst providing some fun entertainment and the chance to win a great prize along with raising money for a good cause’.
