Meet the judges
To judge The Nation's A* Trades Apprentice Award, we created a panel of three judges working within the trades and construction space, who between them hold a wealth of experience and knowledge in what it takes to carve out a successful career.

Leading Markel's Direct division, Rob has a wealth of experience within the construction industry, with over 20 years of experience within the trades' insurance sector.
"As we approach this year's National Apprenticeship Week, we are pleased to bring back The Nation's A* Trades Apprentice Award. Apprentices across the Nation are performing outstanding work within the UK trades and construction industry, playing a vital role in working towards ending the skills crisis that the UK continues to experience. This award is here to thank all of those hard-working apprentices, and celebrate their contributions and importance to the UK's trades sector."
