Rob Rees - Divisional Director

Rob Rees is the divisional director for Markel Direct, which offers specialist small business insurance to contractors, freelancers, tradespeople and charities.

He joined Markel Direct in 2019 and brings over 20-years' experience. He is also responsible for Markel owned freelancer and contractor business Caunce O'Hara, which offers specialist insurance for over 23,000 contractors, freelancers and small businesses across the UK.

Before joining Markel, Rob held senior leadership positions at Trade Direct Insurance Services, Jelf Group (now Marsh) and Towergate.
